Not sure how recent the addition is to the gaming settings in windows but worth investigating might be disabling all the broadcasting, etc options in the gaming settings. I'm looking at this windows update to try and figure out what may be the culprit too. The only reason why i doubt it may help us here is that problem seemed to help out peopl with lower end integrated graphics cards, like intel ones for example, which naturally had trouble allocating their video memory in windows to begin with, but yeah its deff worth a shot. Yeah thats the first thing im going to try. Hmm, scan read the settings, yeah scratch laptops, seems to be revolving around nvidia cards though.except mine of course, i can run the game fine, gods forbid could replicate it now at home while they're texting me all night xD Hopefully we get this straightened out for our friends.Įdit: Also my friend's CPU is an i5 4570. My friend isn't online so he can't test this out, but you may have some luck. I've read that "-minvidmem 0" didn't work for some people, but experimenting with numbers 1 through 29 with minvidmem did it for some other people. My friend isn't on a laptop and is facing this issue, so not sure what common thread can be built there. It really does seem to be such an erratic issue for those it affects. I did the update, and i'm fine, so looking like something got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up for mobile cards maybe and CoH2 ability to indentify them.but this is just my lunatic speculation at this point, once i solve my buddies problem i'll try to rem to update iuncase helps anyone else out, going over to his place tommorow to get my hands on his comp and try to figure it out. Turned on his comp today, updated windows, and bam getting this error message too. Same ♥♥♥♥ as your boat too, we play CoH2 all the time, he just ran it thursday in fact.
